Summer school

We are organizing a Summer School on the War in Ukraine and its Security Implications in the Erasmus+ Blended Intense Programme framework, which will take place in Prague on 11-15 September 2023. Our partner universities will have an opportunity to send MA students, Ph.D. candidates and academics for this week-long programme, featuring seminars on the implications of the war on East and Central European Countries, international politics of the Global South, environmental impacts of the war or ongoing debates on accountability for human rights violations and atrocity crimes. These will be complemented by interactive learning formats, including a guided simulation The Isle of Ted: Cooperation versus Conflict,  or workshops reflecting innovations in academia and research, such as increasing use of AI applications or recording podcasts. We will also organize two field trips, one to the Dox Center for Contemporary Art and one to various sites commemorating the 1968 Soviet invasion and follow-up occupation in Prague. This study programme is open to participants from selected partner universities and MUP students.
